Get rid of you phobia Vancouver Washington

I have a personal story about a needle phobia that I would like to share with you. It centers around my two older brothers. The oldest was Jim and 2 yrs younger was Bob. Now, Bob had a terrible needle phobia, Vancouver Washington that was brought on by a medical condition. When he was in elementary school the teacher reported that he was always falling asleep at his desk. It looked like that he was fighting to get through the day. My parents took him to the physicians who ran a batch of lab tests on him and they discovered that he had a heart problem, Rheumatic fever, that in the early 60’s could be deadly. He spent the the coming year in bed not even permitted to get up to go the bathroom. He was continually so good with regards to sitting there and letting the nurse give him shots or take blood, that is until his very last visitOn his last visit he understood it was nearly over and he only had to endure the procedures one more time. Well, at that visit he screamed, cried and ran around the room right up until my mother could get a hold of him and pin him down. Everyone was stunned because until that time he had been such a nice and sweet child. My brother got over the Rheumatic fever but he never got rid of the needle phobia.

three years after that, both brothers were with the doctors and Bob had to get a shot of some kind. He was in terror. My brother Jim sad he had never seen Bob so scared of something. He cried, screamed and ran all around the room Now, the nurse that was to give the shot had never met my brothers before. When she entered the room all she saw were two boys carrying on and running around. She captured my brother and informed him to calm down, lay on the table. He did as instructed and got the shot in the butt. But for some mysterious reason she never verified which child needed the shot. I am sure you have guessed by now that she got the wrong child. When asked about it later Jim said "well, I took the shot because Bob was upset and besides he is my brother". Needless to say my Mother took Bob back to the {doctors|medical doctors|physicians.

From that time on he lived with the needle phobia, we at least until I got a hold of him. By using Guided Imagery tactics his needle phobia, Vancouver Washington was cleared in two sessions. I think it could have been cleared in one session, but being my brother he decided to be challenging

I love using him as an example since I actually know the moment that his phobia formulated. I know how deep into his belief system the needle phobia, Vancouver Washington was. I knew that he could not "just get over it" as some people told him to do. It did not mean he was a weak person that had no will power. He had a phobia that could not be "cured" by just wishing it would go away.

Luckily for him, he knew someone that could clear it for him.
